The
reviewing procedure of “Pragmata Tes Oikonomias” is in compliance with
the latest guidelines of the MS&HE (December 2011).
The
Editors of the annual implemented the, so called, ghostwriting and ghost
authorship barrier. Following preliminary qualification of the paper for
publication by topical editors, the paper is assigned an ID code that is
obligatory in the reviewing process. The reviewers do not know the names
of the authors of papers they review (see the List of Reviewers). The
reviewers also remain unknown to the authors (the double-blind review
process).
In the
case of a paper prepared by a number of authors, they are obliged to
reveal the contributions made by other co-authors in the process of a
given monograph (including information about who is the author of the
concept, methods, research tools and the actual researcher).
The
main responsibility rests on the author registering the manuscript.
Symptoms of scientific unreliability will be exposed including
notification of appropriate institutions (employers, scientific
associations, scientific publishing houses, etc.).
The author is obliged to
provide information about the source of financing of their research, if
the paper submitted to the “Pragmata
Tes Oikonomias” was written as a result of an obtained grant or other
form of financing science.
